Products

Three product lines. One training standard.

Every device is type-specific, OEM-referenced, and built to the qualification standard your program actually needs. Nothing generic leaves the shop.

01 — Aircraft Simulators & Simulation Hardware

Built to the aircraft,
not to a template.

Our flight training devices replicate the handling, systems, and failure behaviour of one specific type — the switches, the avionics, the ergonomics. Training transfers to the real cockpit on day one, and every live hour you replace comes straight off your operating cost.

What we can build

  • Qualification levels — FAA BATD and AATD, FAA Level 4–7 flight training devices, EASA FNPT II and FNPT II MCC, and Level D-class full-flight simulators.
  • Configurations — fixed-base, part-task, procedure trainer, and full-cockpit builds, in open-frame or enclosed form.
  • Visuals — seamless direct projection across curved and dome screens for a wide, unbroken field of view.
  • Instructor station — scenario authoring, failure injection, repositioning, and full replay for debrief.
  • Avionics — Garmin, Collins, and OEM-specific suites, including transition and differences training configurations.
  • Refurbishment — we also modernise existing devices: new visuals, new avionics, new host, same airframe.

Platforms we build

Every type below has been built and delivered by the Euramec Group — these are devices in service, not a catalogue of what we could attempt. The list is short on purpose.

Not on the list?

The list is where we have been, not where we stop

Every type above started as somebody's requirement rather than a product we decided to make. If you operate an aircraft we have not built yet, we can almost certainly build it — at the qualification level your program actually needs, from AATD through FNPT II and Level D-class. Tell us the type, the level, and the timeline, and we will tell you honestly what it takes.

FNPT II.

Our most recent fixed-wing delivery — a type-specific FNPT II flight training device for the Tecnam P2010 MkII, built around the real flight deck rather than a reconfigurable shell. Watch it running.

What was delivered

  • Type-specific flight deck — P2010 MkII panel layout, switchology, and control feel, not a generic single-engine shell.
  • FNPT II qualification — built to EASA FNPT II standard for instrument and procedural credit.
  • Garmin G1000 NXi avionics — the same flows the student uses in the aircraft.
  • Direct projection visuals — seamless wide field of view for circuit, approach, and landing work.
  • Instructor station — failure injection, weather, repositioning, and replay for debrief.

Ab initio and flight schools

Type-specific, at generic-simulator economics

Every hour flown here is an hour off the aircraft — fuel, maintenance, and instructor time — while the student trains on the exact type they will solo.

02 — Sensor & EO/IR Simulation

GIST.
Master the turret
before you fly it.

The Gimbal Imaging Simulation Trainer lets tactical flight officers and sensor operators learn, practise, and stay current on their sensor system without an airframe, a crew, or a fuel bill. It is fully scalable — and every configuration ships with a high-fidelity replica of the matching hand control unit.

GIST sensor operator station with tactical mapping and EO/IR imagery displays
GIST · sensor operator station with mission and mapping system

What it does

  • Replicates turret behaviour, imagery, and on-screen overlay to match the operational system
  • Pairs the sensor feed with a simulated mission and mapping system, exactly as the operator sees it airborne
  • Instructor authors scenarios using computer-generated forces (CGF) — entities, weather, time of day, target behaviour, and failures
  • Full record and replay for objective after-action review and crew debrief
  • Expands from EO/IR alone into Radar, Electronic Warfare, Acoustics, and TACO
  • Networks with our flight training devices so the pilot and the operator train the same mission together

GIST configurations

The same simulation core, scaled to the training you need to deliver and the budget you have to deliver it with. Where a configuration has more than one photo, use the arrows to step through them.

Portable GIST sensor operator trainer packed in a transit case with replica hand control unit
CONFIG A

Portable / Deployable

A laptop-based single-operator trainer with the replica HCU. Fits in a case, sets up on a squadron table, and goes where the crews are. The lowest-cost way to keep operators current between sorties.

  • Single operator
  • Case-packed
  • Field-deployable
  • One sensor
Fixed GIST operator station with multiple displays, replica hand control unit and a dedicated instructor position
CONFIG B

Fixed Operator Station

A full desk-mounted operator position — multi-display, replica HCU, mission and mapping system, and a dedicated instructor position. The standard configuration for an agency training its own people in-house.

CONFIG C

Sensor Mission Trainer

GIST with the additional sensor domains layered on — Radar, Electronic Warfare, Acoustics, and TACO — so the operator learns to build a picture from every source at once, not one sensor in isolation.

  • Radar
  • EW
  • Acoustics
  • TACO
Multi-station ISR crew trainer replicating the operational section of an ISR aircraft
CONFIG D

ISR Crew Trainer

Multiple dedicated stations replicating the operational section of your ISR aircraft — optionally set into a fuselage section for full immersion. Crews train the intercom, the workflow, and the handover, not just the sensor.

  • Multi-station
  • Networked
  • Fuselage section
  • Crew workflow
Integrated flight and mission solution combining a flight training device with networked ISR operator stations
CONFIG E

Integrated Flight + Mission Solution

Add a scalable flight training device — an AS350, an EC135, a Caravan — and the ISR stations become a complete crew solution. The pilot flies the orbit, the operator works the turret, and the two learn to talk to each other under load. This is where crew resource management is actually built, and it is the configuration behind our Colorado training centre.

Recorded from our simulation — not the operational sensor

  • Both modes, one turret — operators train the IR-to-EO transition as a decision, not a menu action.
  • Correct overlay — the symbology, readouts, and slew behaviour match the operational system.
  • Runs on the hardware you already have — this is the single-laptop configuration, not a full crew build.
  • Recorded from our own simulation — no operational footage, so it can be shown to anyone.

Sensor simulations

Overlay, imagery, and controls replicated per system. Pick a turret along the top, then step through its sensor modes underneath — the same scene in daylight, infrared, and low-light is exactly the comparison an operator is trained to make.

03 — Hand Control Units & Sensor Simulation Hardware

The grip is where
the training sticks.

An operator does not think their way through a slew — they feel it. If the simulator's controller is a generic joystick, everything above the wrist has to be relearned in the aircraft. Ours is a high-fidelity replica of the real hand control unit, so the muscle memory built in training is the muscle memory used on the mission.

Built to match the unit you fly

  • Replica form and switchology — grip shape, button placement, detents, and thumb controls matched to the operational HCU for the turret you operate.
  • Correct control response — slew rates, dead-band, and zoom behaviour tuned to the real system rather than to a gaming controller curve.
  • Standard USB connection — plugs into the training host with no proprietary interface box to fail or to freight.
  • Desk, arm, or console mount — configured for a portable trainer, a fixed operator station, or a fuselage-section crew build.
  • Available on its own — if you already run your own sensor simulation, we will supply the HCU as a standalone item.
  • Supportable — serviceable parts and spares held for the life of your programme, not a sealed consumer unit.
