Virtual maintenance
Procedural and troubleshooting training on high-fidelity virtual aircraft systems, without an aircraft on the ground.
Products
Every device is type-specific, OEM-referenced, and built to the qualification standard your program actually needs. Nothing generic leaves the shop.
01 — Aircraft Simulators & Simulation Hardware
Our flight training devices replicate the handling, systems, and failure behaviour of one specific type — the switches, the avionics, the ergonomics. Training transfers to the real cockpit on day one, and every live hour you replace comes straight off your operating cost.
Every type below has been built and delivered by the Euramec Group — these are devices in service, not a catalogue of what we could attempt. The list is short on purpose.

In development
Not yet delivered — these are in active development across the Euramec Group. Launch-customer terms are available on each.
Not on the list?
Every type above started as somebody's requirement rather than a product we decided to make. If you operate an aircraft we have not built yet, we can almost certainly build it — at the qualification level your program actually needs, from AATD through FNPT II and Level D-class. Tell us the type, the level, and the timeline, and we will tell you honestly what it takes.

Our most recent fixed-wing delivery — a type-specific FNPT II flight training device for the Tecnam P2010 MkII, built around the real flight deck rather than a reconfigurable shell. Watch it running.

Ab initio and flight schools
Every hour flown here is an hour off the aircraft — fuel, maintenance, and instructor time — while the student trains on the exact type they will solo.
02 — Sensor & EO/IR Simulation
The Gimbal Imaging Simulation Trainer lets tactical flight officers and sensor operators learn, practise, and stay current on their sensor system without an airframe, a crew, or a fuel bill. It is fully scalable — and every configuration ships with a high-fidelity replica of the matching hand control unit.
The same simulation core, scaled to the training you need to deliver and the budget you have to deliver it with. Where a configuration has more than one photo, use the arrows to step through them.
A laptop-based single-operator trainer with the replica HCU. Fits in a case, sets up on a squadron table, and goes where the crews are. The lowest-cost way to keep operators current between sorties.
A full desk-mounted operator position — multi-display, replica HCU, mission and mapping system, and a dedicated instructor position. The standard configuration for an agency training its own people in-house.
GIST with the additional sensor domains layered on — Radar, Electronic Warfare, Acoustics, and TACO — so the operator learns to build a picture from every source at once, not one sensor in isolation.
Multiple dedicated stations replicating the operational section of your ISR aircraft — optionally set into a fuselage section for full immersion. Crews train the intercom, the workflow, and the handover, not just the sensor.
Add a scalable flight training device — an AS350, an EC135, a Caravan — and the ISR stations become a complete crew solution. The pilot flies the orbit, the operator works the turret, and the two learn to talk to each other under load. This is where crew resource management is actually built, and it is the configuration behind our Colorado training centre.
Pick a turret, pick a mission system, add the sensor domains you need. Combinations are built to order — if your fit is not listed, ask.

Our simulated Star 380 HD feed, in both sensor modes. Switch between infrared and electro-optical.
Recorded from our simulation — not the operational sensor
Overlay, imagery, and controls replicated per system. Pick a turret along the top, then step through its sensor modes underneath — the same scene in daylight, infrared, and low-light is exactly the comparison an operator is trained to make.
03 — Hand Control Units & Sensor Simulation Hardware
An operator does not think their way through a slew — they feel it. If the simulator's controller is a generic joystick, everything above the wrist has to be relearned in the aircraft. Ours is a high-fidelity replica of the real hand control unit, so the muscle memory built in training is the muscle memory used on the mission.
Common fits
HCUs are built to the sensor system in your aircraft. Tell us the turret and the mission system and we will confirm the fit.
Beyond the three lines
Euramec USA is your route into everything the group builds. If a programme needs a capability outside our three core lines, it is already engineered somewhere in the group.
Procedural and troubleshooting training on high-fidelity virtual aircraft systems, without an aircraft on the ground.
Full-mission bridge and command-centre simulation for naval, coast guard, and commercial crews.
Vehicle crew, gunnery, counter-drone, and part-task training for land force operators.
Sensor and weapons-system emulation for tactical crews in a reconfigurable, networked environment.
Platform, crew size, sensor fit, and the qualification level you need. We will come back with a device, a timeline, and a straight answer on cost.
